Spark helps you show up for the people you love. You own your data. We provide the tools. Don't misuse the service, and we'll keep building it for you. If you subscribe to Spark+, you can cancel anytime. We're here to help, not to trap you.
By creating an account or using Spark, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Spark. We have written these terms in plain language — please read them.
When you create a Spark account, you're responsible for:

Spark is a relationship intelligence companion that helps you stay close to the people you love. The service includes:
We continuously improve Spark. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the product evolves. We'll give reasonable notice before removing features that Spark+ subscribers rely on.

You own everything you put into Spark:
Spark uses AI (powered by Anthropic and OpenAI) to generate conversation starters, insights, nudges, and digests. Important things to understand:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Spark's name, logo, design, code, and AI systems are owned by Spark and protected by intellectual property laws. Your use of Spark does not grant you any ownership rights over the platform itself. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of Spark without our written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Either party can end this relationship:
Upon termination, your right to use Spark ends. Sections on liability, intellectual property, and governing law survive termination.
We may update these terms as Spark evolves. When we do:
If you disagree with the changes, you may close your account before they take effect.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of New Brunswick, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Brunswick, Canada.
